Director of Strategic Communications
Gina joined Halverson Group in 2016 as Director of Strategic Communications. A former journalist, she has parlayed her love of storytelling into helping companies find their voice and build brand awareness through compelling external and internal communications. She works closely with the Halverson team to share our unique capabilities and thinking with a range of audiences.
Prior to Halverson, Gina was Associate Editorial Director at the branding and marketing firm VSA Partners. Her editorial writing has appeared in Chicago magazine (where she was an editor for eight years), Modern Luxury publications (where she served as an editor in chief), Parenting magazine, Chicago Home + Garden and iVillage. She has also written and developed copy for Allstate, Peapod, Kellogg School of Management, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and James Hardie.
Gina holds an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
